Amergis Healthcare Staffing, Inc.-Allied is seeking a travel Medical Lab Technician for a travel job in Needham, Massachusetts.
Medical Lab Technician
~ Discipline: Allied Health Professional
~ Shift: 8 hours
~ Employment Type: Travel

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is partnered with a much-respected facility in Needham Heights, MA who is currently seeking a qualified Specimen Processor to assist them on a contractual basis.
Details of the position include:Position: Specimen ProcessorLocation: Needham Heights, MAStart Date: ASAPDuration: 13 weeks - temp to perm possibility Schedule: · 40 hours per week
· Monday-Friday
· First day will start 11a-12p for training/orientation
Contract Requirements:
~Will be labeling specimens, verifying patient information, and entering data – must be detail oriented
~ Specimen accessioning background strongly preferred - Will be accessioning tissue specimens for surgical pathology processing
~ No travelers – local temp only
~ Experience with any Laboratory Information System is a plus, does not need to be EPIC/Beaker – willing to train
~ Covid vaccine no longer required
~ No specific certification or degree required – just relevant experience
~ Ideal candidate has pathology lab or clinical lab experience and knowledge of anatomy and physiology
