This Position reports to: Service Team Leader In this role, you'll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact. The work model for this role is: Remote Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary on-site representative to the ABB end customer/user and other ABB field personnel. Preserve ABB's Safety Culture on every aspect and as first priority, in the field and always keeping an eye on co-workers. Occasionally have additional team leader administrative responsibilities to coordinate internal field service activities. Assist customer with spare parts ordering, issues resolution, and provisioning. Perform collateral duties as assigned to meet business needs as they relate to EHS, Quality, Integrity, etc. Perform duties in Power Delivery, Medium & Low Voltage Switchgear/MCCs, Protective Relays, Transformers, Control Systems, etc. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university or college and 5 years of experience in a field engineering role (or a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 9 years of experience in a support or field engineering position). Experience with various electrical controls (power delivery) and systems to include: Mid-Voltage Switchgear Low-Voltage Switchgear Motor Control Center Transformers Test & Maintenance Automatic Transfer Switches Wiring Diagrams: one line electrical drawings Blueprints & Schematics Relay Testing & installation (preferred) Instruments; PLC's & DCS (preferred) Variable Frequency Drives (preferred) Ability and willingness to travel 60% - 80% of the time within TX, LA, MO, OK, AR, KS, AL, MS, TN states and every now and then within the US.
