Position Highlights:

  • Student Loan Repayment:  This position may be eligible for Avera’s Student Loan Repayment Program, which helps you pay off your loans and save money. Each month an extra payment of $167 (up to $10,000) from Avera will help pay down your principal balance faster .

  Job Summary

Become a multifaceted imaging professional, contributing to the patient experience through CT, surgical, and diagnostic radiography. Utilize advanced technology to capture high-resolution internal images using CT scans, surgical fluoroscopy, and diagnostic radiography techniques, playing a vital role in accurate diagnoses and treatment plans. Collaborate effectively with healthcare providers, demonstrate empathy, and compassion towards patients, and ensure a safe and comfortable imaging experience. Be adaptable and embrace opportunities to cross-train in diverse imaging modalities like CT, and surgical radiography furthering your skills and expertise.

Education and/or Experience

  • Associate's degree or a certificate of completion from an accredited School of Radiology is required.

  Certification/Licensure/Registrations

  • ARRT (R) Radiography Registry required within 60 days of receiving a certificate of completion from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
  • ARRT (CT) Computed Tomography Registry preferred.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT

  • Signature of NRC Confirmatory Order Communication required.

Work Schedule

  • Night Shift - night shift differential pay
  • 48 hours per 2 weeks

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. The actual hourly rate is dependent upon experience.  

  • $26.25 - $39.50 per hour
