Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a  Travel - CT Tech

Shift : Variable Days, 7a-7:30p, 6:30a-7p, 12x3, 36 hours per week

Length : 13 weeks

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience
  • AART (CT) (R)
  • AHA BLS
  • Pediatric experience preferred

Others :

  • Will float between CT and X-Ray
  • COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
  • Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline):  Required - No Exemptions

Others:

Will float between CT and X-Ray.

Required: Louisiana State Radiology Technologist, AART (CT) (R), BLS (American Heart Association only) minimum of 1 year experience, pediatric experience preferred

No call requirement

The schedule can look like:

Week 1 - Sunday - Tuesday- 6:30a - 7p

Week 2 - Thursday - Saturday - 6:30a - 7p

Week 3 - Monday (7a - 7:30p), Wednesday (630a - 7p), Thursday (6:30p - 7a)

This is the schedule for CHERM. It is limited staffing and requires xray experience because they are the only tech on certain shifts. There is no xray tech overnight or on Sunday so the CT tech is responsible for performing all xray and CT.

Provides clinical services according to radiology practice standards to ensure optimal departmental functions: Demonstrates skills and knowledge in use of all CT equipment and performance of all CT protocols and procedures. Demonstrates technical proficiency in producing high quality exams within the appropriate length of time for procedure. Maintains compliance with hospital attendance and punctuality requirements.
