Inside Sales Representative

Serve as an outside District Sales Manager to drive sales growth and retention. The role reports to the Director of Sales and is responsible for the profitable growth and market development of assigned territories while contributing to the growth of the region. Develop and implement viable market plans that include customer analysis competitive insights growth opportunities and revenue goals. Demonstrate a complete understanding of key customers business and the critical measures that drive each account.  Effectively communicate the features and benefits of all products and systems offered by Retail Direct in the market to customers. Identify and pursue customer leads and opportunities. Effectively probe to understand the customers needs.  Educate the customer interpret project requirements and develop project specifications. Generate professional project estimates and sales of pre-engineered metal buildings pole barns metal roof and wall systems. Ensure the sale of products and services complies with proper pricing guidelines policies and procedures.  Serve as the customers point of contact and maintain positive relationships with customers. Work effectively and collaboratively with internal departments to ensure customer experience is optimized and efficient. Act as the liaison between the customer and company regarding potential problems and customer desires. Provide and ensure customer-focused activities deliverables and services. Attention to Detail Ensuring orders are processed accurately and on schedule. Teamwork Collaborating with others to ensure smooth customer experience. Technical Skills Ability to utilize ERP business applications and quote tool software. Continuous learning development and performance improvement seeking. Complete acceptance of job performance role and responsibility. EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Minimum of two (2) years of proven sales/marketing or sales management experience required. Preferred Building Materials experiences in the areas of pre-engineered metal buildings pole barns or metal roof and wall systems. Strong understanding of Drafting Estimating and Inside Sales functions. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills coupled with detail orientation and organizational skills. Ability to maintain positive relationships with team members and customers. Must be able to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously. Expected travel is 50-70% in the assigned market (1-2 overnights) High School Diploma or GED required.  Sufficient personal computer and business software application capabilities required. Exposure Moving mechanical parts fumes airborne particles and non-climate-controlled environment. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $60000-$70000 commission medical dental vision benefits starting day 1 401k and PTO. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors including job-related skills experience and relevant education or training.
