Eurofins PSS seeks a QC Analytical Chemist in Albany, NY to conduct GMP-compliant testing of pharmaceutical materials including raw materials, APIs, and stability samples. The role involves method transfers, investigations of testing anomalies, and proficiency with multiple analytical techniques.
Responsibilities
- Execute testing and review of pharmaceutical samples per approved methods and compendial standards
- Perform method transfer, qualification, and verification studies
- Investigate out-of-specification, out-of-trend, and invalid test results
- Conduct elemental impurities and residual solvent testing across multiple analytical platforms
- Manage and qualify reference standards according to GMP requirements
Requirements
- BS in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field with ≥1 year GMP/GLP testing experience, or MS with ≥6 months experience
- At least one year of industry experience with Liquid Chromatography, Conductivity, and Titration
- Demonstrated experience with at least two of: NMR, GC, ICP-OES, IR, RI, UV-Vis, or TGA
- Strong knowledge of GMP regulations, ICH guidelines, and 21 CFR Parts 210 and 211
- Authorization to work indefinitely in the United States without sponsorship
Compensation: $23.00–$29.00 per hour based on education and experience
