Facility Setting: Acute Care – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00pm – 7:30am), every other weekend
Estimated Weekly Pay: $1680 - $1800
Floating: May float to Meridian Medical Center, Nampa Medical Center, and other ICUs in the Valley; Orientation: 1-2 shifts
Registered Nurse Qualifications
Active RN license – Idaho or compact state
Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience in a similar or larger hospital setting
Experience with Epic EMR charting system preferred
Willingness to float to other units as needed
ICU Nurse Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality critical care nursing to patients in SICU/MICU settings
Manage nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2
Monitor, titrate, and administer critical care medications and drips
Collaborate with hospitalists, intensivists, respiratory therapists, and CNAs
Float to other ICUs or serve as a 1:1 sitter when required
Document patient care using Epic EMR
Participate in unit orientation and ongoing professional development
