This position combines roles for Medical Laboratory Technicians and Medical Laboratory Scientists responsible for conducting pre-analytic, analytic, and post-analytic testing of blood and body fluids to aid in disease diagnosis and treatment. Duties include tissue preparation, chemical and immunologic staining, and team leadership within a clinical laboratory setting. The role requires specific qualifications and licenses, with opportunities for professional growth in a patient-focused healthcare organization.
This is a combined posting for an Medical Laboratory Technician and Medical Laboratory Scientist. Responsible for the pre-analytic, analytic and post analytic testing of blood and body fluids to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. This individual also covers part time in the histology department. Duties include all steps of tissue preparation and performance of chemical and immunologic staining procedures on tissues. Has interaction with outpatients, employees and other individuals that utilize the laboratory. Responsible for the pre-analytic, analytic and post analytic testing of blood and body fluids to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.
