Data Quality Analyst New Castle, Delaware Hybrid Contract $66/hr - $71/hr Grow your career as a Data Quality Analyst with an innovative global bank in New Castle, DE. Contract role with strong possibility of extension. Will require working a hybrid schedule 2-3 days onsite per week. Contract Duration: 12+ Months Required Skills & Experience Bachelor’s/University degree. 8+ years of experience in data-focused initiatives in Banking or Financial Services. Must have 5+ years of experience in writing SQL queries and reviewing stored procedures. Must have very strong MS Excel skills for data analysis, data mining and reporting. Experience working with Database, Reporting/Analytics. Understanding of financial products, especially Repos/Reverse Repos and securities financing transaction products. Experience using Jira. Accustomed to working very volumes of data (millions of lines of data) in enterprise environments. Experience optimizing data. Proven stakeholder management skills working with various technical and non-technical teams and levels of the organization to remediate data issues, UAT and get signoff. Data and results oriented with excellent attention to detail. Desired Skills & Experience Master's degree. Strongly prefer experience with Capital Markets, Rates products. Experience with Python. What You Will Be Doing Leadership within Data Analyst team involved in data quality initiatives spanning global functions, inclusive of regulatory and other deliverables. Work with cross functional teams to develop, test, implement and maintain data quality rules covering the trade life cycle across Markets Data. Analyze data quality exceptions to identify root cause and business impact for data quality issues raised. Enhance data quality process automation, governance, and reporting. Prepare and present written and verbal updates to senior management. Ensure adherence to best practices supporting the company’s program, project, and data management standards.
