Atrium Health is growing and currently seeking an additional GI Advanced Practice Provider (APP) for their Pineville location.
Job details:
- 100% Adult medicine
- Full time outpatient clinic M-F 8am-4:30pm
- 1 day a week of morning telehealth visits and afternoon administrative time
- Responsible for one holiday per year covering one of our hospitals from 7am-5pm
- Perform in person patient consultations and follow ups for patients with acute and chronic gastrointestinal diseases.
- The GI APP will need to be comfortable with in-office gastrostomy tube removals and replacements or be willing to learn.
Who you are:
- Experienced APP with at least 2 years of Gastroenterology experience is preferred. Will consider APPs who are familiar with managing chronic diseases or show true passion for the gastroenterology field
- Nurse Practitioner - Master's Degree or Doctorate of Nursing Practice required. License to practice as a Registered Nurse required. Certification in the area of practice from a nationally recognized certifying body required. Acute Care board certification optional based upon population and acuity served.
- Physician Assistant - Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program required, Master's Degree preferred. Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants preferred.
- APP who can demonstrate appropriate critical thinking and interpersonal skills
- APP who demonstrates exceptional self-directed learning ability
- APP who has the ability to prioritize and make proactive decisions.
- APP who is flexible with work schedule and is a team player
