What you will be doing
Position Purpose:
The purpose of this position is to be involved with the assignment of complex reverse logistics processes crucial to the organizations ability to service our customers and manage returns and reclamation of unsaleable goods.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Ensure data integrity of reclamation item attributes within Inventory Management System.
- Provide support for unsaleable vendor billing and corresponding store credits processing.
- Develop primary responsibility for the PRC period close process - data retrieval, application of business rules, reporting.
- Assist in management of hazardous waste data integrity.
- Analyze and report impact of vendor reclamation/swell policies for the category management teams.
- Manage large sets of data from several different sources.
- Prioritize and respond to requests from stores and vendors to group email.
- Work with Division Shrink Managers and Receiving coordinators.
- Will assist in determining vendor paybacks and adjustments.
- Reconcile invoice discrepancies.
- Research store inventory adjustments on a regular basis.
- Work with Category Management on vendor compliance and policy issues.
- Execute PRC initiatives.
- Analyze, interpret and provide insight/conclusions relating to PRC tasks.
- Perform root cause analysis and reporting to internal and external groups.
- Support Retail Operations and retail stores.
The position will be based in Boise, Idaho.
What we are searching for
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Must be proficient in MS Access database manipulation, VB experience may be helpful
- Strong experience in SQL
- DB2 experience preferred with understanding of table constructs, index use, data types, db concepts, etc.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform preferred
- Excellent analytical skills
- High degree of initiative with strong planning skills; must be able to work independently and be a team player
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
- Must be a self-starter
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
