Opportunities may include projects for large landscape-level flood mitigation; urban, sub-urban and rural stormwater retrofits; living shorelines; canal retrofits and nutrient reduction projects related to EPA’s Impaired Waters Rule/Total Maximum Daily Loads (TMDLs) and Florida’s Basin Management Action Plans (BMAPs).

You’ll get to flex your engineering muscles as you work on innovative designs that require developing new and/or improved techniques and procedures.
Work products are expected to be detailed, clear, and concise, so be ready to shine with your communication skills during the interview You will be juggling several projects simultaneously, so superior attention to detail, feedback, and the ability to prioritize are paramount.
Occasional travel and field work are required.

- Ability to research and analyze different treatment techniques and propose innovative restoration design approaches for water quality treatment and their impacts on nutrients and feasibility for water quality improvement at sites.
What will make you stand out?
- PE License in the state of Florida.
- Low Impact Development (LID) design experience.
- Experience preparing water budgets and floodplain analyses, H&H investigation, evaluating groundwater hydrology, and assessing and restoring stream and wetland biological functionality.
