Gulfstream Staffing has partnered with a general acute-care Hospital looking to expand. We are currently seeking candidates for a Radiology Tech opportunity in greater Phelps, New York. The Radiologic Technologist shall have the ability to provide care to infant, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.

Position: Radiology Technologist

Location: Phelps, New York

Schedule: Day Shift 9 am - 5:30 pm (Weekend, Call Rotation)

Radiology Technologist Duties:

  • Performs technical radiographic assignments
  • Operates with accuracy: Radiographic equipment, Image processor, and other related equipment of similar scope and complexity across different modalities
  • Demonstrates competency in RIS. Utilizes systems to enter and edit patient demographics and charges. Records other appropriate data including repeat rate, notes, etc.
  • Demonstrates competency with CR & PACS for image processing, image review, proper protocol selection, care and use of imaging plates and cassettes as well as troubleshooting.
Radiology Technologist Qualifications:
  • NYS License (preferred ARRT Certification)
  • 1-2 years experience in related radiology fields
  • A broad background in all technical areas of Diagnostic Radiology
