Job Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Support: Assist physicians and registered nurses in implementing patient care plans, including wound care, injections, and other medical procedures.
  • Documentation: Accurately document patient information, including treatment, observations, and medication administration, in electronic health records (EHR).
  • Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on care plans, medication management, and post-treatment care instructions.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure patient safety and quality care.
  • Patient Advocacy: Act as a patient advocate, ensuring that their needs and concerns are addressed in a timely and compassionate manner.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that medical equipment is properly maintained and used in accordance with established protocols.
Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN Qualifications:
  • Licensure: Current and unrestricted LPN license in the state of South Carolina.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of practical nursing experience, preferably in a clinical or hospital setting.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Skills: Strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Personal Attributes: Compassionate, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
