Our client is looking for an Assistant Controller, you will play a critical role in overseeing the financial consolidation, reporting, and accounting operations for our global corporation. As Assistant Controller will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, managing the monthly close process, and driving continuous improvement in our financial processes of this well know pubically traded organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monthly Reporting and Close Process
  • Cash Flow Statement and Analysis
  • Forecasting and Planning
  • Financial Analysis and Compliance
  • SEC Reporting and Disclosure review
  • Pension and Benefit Planning
  • Corporate Accounting Management
  • Team Leadership and Development
  • Audit Coordination
  • Consultation and SOX Compliance
Required Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of the monthly close process.
  • Detailed experience in consolidating results of a global corporation..
  • Highly driven and self-motivated individual who can manage projects independently.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or finance, CPA a plus
  • Minimum of ten years of prior experience in accounting, with at least three years in public accounting and five years on the Controller team of a publicly traded company.
  • Experience with Hyperion Finance Management (HFM) consolidation system is required
