Verovian Nursing Agency is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit (CSICU) in Tallahassee, Florida. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering specialized care to post-operative cardiac surgery patients, managing complex cases, and providing critical care in a fast-paced environment.

  • Monitor and assess patients' vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and overall condition, identifying and responding to changes in their status promptly.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, including cardiothoracic surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals, to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Ensure compliance with all documentation standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, infection control procedures, and regulatory guidelines to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Participate in unit-based training, simulation exercises, and continuing education courses to enhance skills and knowledge.
Candidate requirements BSN, ADN, or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited program is required. BLS, ACLS, and Certification in Critical Care Nursing (CCRN) are preferred. Certification in Cardiac Surgery Nursing (CSC) is preferred. 2-3 years of experience in critical care or cardiac care, with specific experience in a CSICU or similar setting preferred.
