Forensics/Malware Senior Analyst (DCO)

Overview of position:

FEDITC is seeking a Forensics/Malware Senior Analyst (DCO) to work in the Fort Huachuca, Arizona area.

A United States Citizenship and an active Top Secret/SCI DoD Security Clearance is required to be considered for this position.

This is an upcoming opportunity contingent on contract award.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide the capability to conduct forensics and/or analyze files and/or malicious code by automated analysis and/or by static analysis/dynamic analysis/reverse engineering of captured data, individual files, system images, or other data formats.
  • Capture and perform initial analysis on volatile data, log data, network traffic data, etc., to identify any immediate intrusion related artifacts, which in turn, will allow immediate defensive countermeasures to be implemented.
  • Develop procedures or scripts to identify such data.
  • Coordinate with DCO personnel, internal and external ARCYBER, with LE/CI Liaison Officers (LNOs), and intelligence personnel to understand higher-level adversary capability.
  • Document, update, and improve processes and procedures by producing knowledge transfer material, standard documents, and forensic and malware analysis reports.
  • Other support duties as needed/directed.
Qualifications

Experience/Skills:
  • Must have an in-depth understanding of the technical requirements and the ability, knowledge, experience, certifications, and skills to perform those requirements at task order start date.
  • Must have equal or higher qualifications and experience.
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
Education:
  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline.
Certifications:
  • GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA)
  • DCWF Code: 541 - Advanced
Clearance:
  • Active Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance is required.
  • Must be a US Citizen and pass a background check.
  • Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s) as requested by FEDITC and/or required by FEDITC'S Client(s)/Customer(s)/Prime contractor(s).
