An Interventional Radiology Inpatient RN is needed for our full-time position. We offer a Clinical Advancement Program (CAP) that allows you to work towards one of five CAP levels, with increasing compensation as you earn more Nursing Education and National Certifications. You may earn up to $8.00 in addition to our base pay. There's also a sign-on bonus and relocation reimbursement available

You'll be working in the Interventional Radiology department, providing direct nursing care to assigned patients. This includes patient care assignments involving Neonate, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric categories. You'll also offer clinical leadership for other staff and serve as a role model to promote a positive work environment and quality patient care.

We need individuals who are committed to adhering to the Hospitals and departmental policies and procedures. As an Interventional Radiology Inpatient RN, you'll work in collaboration with the healthcare team, implement and document individualized care plans incorporating age-specific considerations, including discharge planning and patient/family teaching.

  • Job Responsibilities

    • Maintain a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for patients/families in accordance with Hospitals standards
    • Demonstrate proactive approach to patient safety by seeking opportunities to improve patient safety through questioning of current policies and processes
    • Identify and report/correct environmental conditions and/or situations
    • Work within Hospitals, Nursing division and departmental policies
    • Deliver safe direct care to an assigned group of patients
    • Report potential or actual patient safety concerns, medical errors and/or near misses in a timely manner
    • Encourage patients to actively participate in their own care

Qualifications:
Education:
Program Graduate.
Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate.
Bachelor's Degree (nonessential)

Experience:
No minimum experience required.
Bilingual English/Spanish (nonessential).

Credentials:

  • CPR for Healthcare/BLS Prov or Prof Rescuers w/in 30 days
  • RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification w/in 6 months
  • Basic Arrhythmia Cert w/in 1 year
  • PALS w/in 6 months of position
  • Conscience Cert w/in 1 year of position
  • Nationally Certified in area of specialty (nonessential)
  • PALS (nonessential)
  • TNCC and/or ENPC (nonessential)

Physical requirements:
Heavy Work: Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects or people. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Medium Work.

Working Conditions:
Significant hazard: Chemicals, Bio Hazardous Materials that require PPE.
