Ranchers Feed & Supply is a family-owned business serving ranchers in the tri-state area of South Dakota/Wyoming/Nebraska. Our typical customer is a commercial cow/calf operator who appreciates a hard-working, solutions- oriented consultant knowledgeable in beef nutrition and animal health. We are seeking a Store Manager to join our team at the Newcastle, WY store location. In this role, you'll be a key contributor to the success of our store by applying your excellent communication and management skills in a fast-paced environment. 40+ hrs/wk The ideal candidate for this position will: Understand retail marketing, product turnover, inventory management Have excellent people skills, Positive attitude is a MUST Willingness to be a team player and be a part of a positive work environment Willing to take adversity in stride Excellent communication skills expected Willing to return calls about product and make follow-up calls to customers as needed Knowledge of Quickbooks/accounting a plus Have experience in livestock production, especially cattle and horses. Have familiarity with industry vaccines and farm/ranch veterinary supplies Have an established work history, 3+ years of successful retail experience. Be a progressive problem solver and know how to utilize your resources. Have excellent record keeping skills and attention to detail, Hubbard purchase orders Keep store clean and organized Work closely with the warehouse manager for inventory maintenance and orders Have a high sense of urgency, Willing to load out customers when needed Lifting 50 lb bags and driving a forklift as needed Willing and able to train staff in POS, store inventory, scale and other daily responsibilities Have a love for the ranching way of life.
