REVOLT’S Creative Services team is seeking a talented, innovative, and proven Motion Graphic Artist team to support creation of cutting-edge motion graphics and animations for multi-media platforms, including linear television digital, and social. You will work with a team of creative professionals on multiple projects, asset management, and project deliverables. This role requires a conceptual, strategic thinker and a collaborative team player. You must be an excellent storyteller with sharp design acumen to quickly identify the best solutions for content. Be prepared to develop concepts and ideas based on the brand identity per campaign/show, pitch to leadership, and create compelling, impactful, and engaging work all while maintaining best practices.

What You’ll Do:

  • Reporting to the Art Director, you'll conceive, develop, and execute visually stunning graphic and motion designs across multiple platforms, including TV, digital (website, app, YouTube, podcast, newsletters, etc.), and social (FB, IG, TikTok, Twitter, Snap).
  • Manage motion projects from conception to delivery, including ideation, brainstorming, mockups, versioning, notes, and final delivery.
  • Ensure brand consistency throughout various projects, focused on maintaining and elevating the REVOLT visual brand and aesthetic.
  • Work quickly and efficiently to tackle high volume output, while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
  • Design and create all in-show GFX packages, including show open, bumps, lower thirds, backgrounds, credit bed, mortises, etc.
  • Animate still graphics and logos created by the team’s graphic designers.
  • Create original motion graphic designs, as well as update and modify graphic templates to execute required assets.
  • Provide weekly status updates of your projects to keep teams aware of progress. Including weekly team meetings, and using project tracking software.
  • Participate in brainstorms to contribute ideas and concepts. Additionally, identify where designs can be elevated with motion or animation.
  • Create graphic templates for easy use and versioning by other team members and freelance designers.
  • Be intentional with your designs, not only focused on high level creative, but best practices, effectiveness, and creative problem solving. We don’t just do it well, we do it right.
  • Take creative feedback from multiple sources and sort out how to address it, directly or indirectly, for the benefit of the work.
  • Develop an extensive inventory of templates, fonts, effects, and vectors.
  • Keep up to date with industry developments, latest design trends, and technological advancements.
  • Manage and prepare graphic assets for delivery and maintain an organized library of project files, utilizing file storage platforms like Dropbox, and project management software like Monday.com.
  • Adhere to brand guidelines in ways that still push creative boundaries.
  • Stay inspired.
Who You Are:
  • A rock star motion designer with 5+ years motion graphics experience, ideally in a corporate, agency, in-house creative, commercial and/or production design environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree in motion graphic design, digital design, animation or equivalent (Preferred).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects. Knowledge of Premiere Pro is a plus).
  • Proficiency in Blender, Cinema 4D, Davinci Resolve, or similar software a real nice plus.
  • Ability to effectively create 2D, 3D, and 4D motion graphics with a keen eye for strong visuals and high-level aesthetics.
  • Experience executing in-show television graphics, and working knowledge of in-show graphic elements
  • Understands file compression, ideal export specifications, and delivery to multiple media formats
  • High-level attention to detail and organization (file naming, project layout and organization) and the ability to work within a structure and departmental workflow.
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently. Ability to meet deadlines and stay on schedule is a must.
  • Comfortable multitasking multiple projects at once.
  • Collaborative mindset is an absolute must, a team player who can take direction, effectively implement multiple rounds of notes, and own a project from end to end.
  • Willingness to work long hours and the occasional weekend if necessary. It’s not the norm, but it happens from time to time.
  • Demonstrated participation in the culture in a genuine way, cultural taste in design, copy, art direction, music, fashion, technology, etc.
  • Desire to learn new techniques, software, and technologies to advance your craft.
  • Strong online portfolio and resume demonstrating experience and knowledge of design tools. If you don’t have a link to your work, you won’t be considered.
  • Must pass the vibe check. We are a tight knit group, and your character is almost as important as your skillset.
