Health Care Unlimited, Inc. is seeking to employ experienced compassionate and caring licensed/certified nurses to join our rapidly growing team of multi-discipline professionals. Our home healthcare agency is Joint Commissioned Accredited and a nationally recognized 5 Star rated organization. These open positions are for Registered Nurses and Licensed Vocational Nurses able to work in Webb Countyon either a Part-Time basis to fill either day, evening, or weekend shifts in our Home Health Department. Some On-Call shifts required. Candidates must be flexible with their availability and accountable with their work performance.

Qualified applicants MUST be registered / licensed with a state board of nursing; have a valid CPR/First Aid Certification from the American Heart Association; and have the ability to pass a mandated criminal background check.

Preferred qualities include being Bilingual (with the ability to communicate in both English and Spanish); being familiar with assessing vital signs including blood pressure, heart rate, respirations, and temperature; having a high level of patience, empathy and compassion; have strong decision-making skills, and have willingness to learn. Applicants experienced with providing home health or private duty services in a home setting and/or providing care and support to clients of any age requiring ventilatory management, I.V. Therapy including PICC Lines, or VAC/Wound therapy area plus.

Applicants should also be conscientious, punctual, and reliable; have outstanding customer service and organizational skills; have good communication skills, both written and oral; be able manage their time effectively; be responsible for maintaining accurate documentation; have reliable means of transportation to and from assignments; and possess a ‘sense of urgency’ when providing for the client’s needs all while maintaining a discipline, professional attitude under any circumstances.
