Job Description

We're looking for an experienced Emergency Department Manager to join our team in Georgetown. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality care possible.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing departmental goals, plans, and standards that align with our clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical objectives. Key responsibilities include:

  • Directing and evaluating departmental operations including patient care delivery, information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management to achieve performance and quality control objectives.
  • Planning and monitoring staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.
  • Preparing, monitoring, and evaluating departmental budgets, ensuring compliance with allocated funding, and coordinating internal/external audits.
  • Creating and fostering an environment that encourages professional growth.
  • Integrating evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.
