We have a phenomenal Occupational Therapist opportunity at one of our partner School District in Rochester, WA. This position is a full-time hybrid role, allowing for this clinician to work 3 weeks remote and 1 week on-site.
You will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive occupational therapy services to students within the school system. Your expertise in promoting fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care abilities, and functional independence will contribute to enhancing students' participation, academic success, and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students' sensory, motor, and cognitive abilities, and functional performance in school-related tasks.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, goals, and educational objectives.
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, including therapeutic activities, interventions, and adaptive equipment use.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support students' participation and progress in the educational setting.
- Monitor and document students' progress, maintaining accurate records and complying with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and provide input on appropriate accommodations and services.
- Educate students, teachers, and families on strategies to support sensory, motor, and self-care skills within the school environment.
- Engage in professional development activities to stay current with best practices and advancements in pediatric occupational therapy.
Requirements:
- Valid license as an Occupational Therapist in the state where the school district is located.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Previous experience working in a school based or pediatric based setting.
