Do you want an opportunity to serve with compassion and help others? We seek patient and dedicated caregivers to assist adults with developmental disabilities in their neighborhood, group home. Our Caregivers / DSPs provide support for adults living in CILA group homes (Community Integrated Living Arrangements), with around-the-clock care. Developmental Foundations, a family owned company providing quality residential services since 1986, is hiring 2nd Shift Caregivers / DSPs in ­­Lincoln, IL.

Pay:

  • Starting at $17.00/Hour

  • DSP training is provided and paid. Once trained, you will become a certified DD Aide and will be added to the Health Care Worker Registry (HCWR)

Qualifications:

  • DSP or CNA experience beneficial, but not required
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred, but not required
  • Entry level position. DSP training is provided and paid

Requirements:

  • High school completion or equivalency is required. High school diploma/signed high school transcript including graduation date/G.E.D. is required
  • Successfully complete and pass background check
  • Weekend availability is required

Responsibilities:

  • Companionship
  • Housekeeping and meal preparation
  • Assistance with medication
  • Assistance with personal care, including bathing and toileting
  • Ability to stay alert and responsive at all times
