Nurse Practititoner/Physician Assistant Pace, FL
Our Panhandle CTC an Adult, outpatient MAT programs is recruiting an APP to assist in the treatment of our patients. Addiction Medicine patients require care from specialty-trained professionals, in a highly-specialized, and quality-focused environment. This is a Monday through Friday position and the hours are 6 or 7 AM unitl 11 or 12 PM and offers competitive compensation and benefits.
This position requires Board Certification/Eligibility, an interest and/or experience in MAT. We own and operate 160+ MAT programs throughout the US.

Responsibilities
Summary:
- Provides initial and annual history and physical evaluation, assesses eligibility for treatment, evaluates patients' history of dependence on opioids;
- Orders appropriate laboratory studies, reviews laboratory results and provides necessary education, referral and / or follow up services to patients;
- Monitors the treatment plans of high risk patients.
- Prescribes medication for the treatment of substance abuse according to patient need as allowed by state regulation;
- Consults and collaborates with Medical Director to plan and implement care according to Nurse Practitioner Guidelines;
- Reports and documents significant patient issues and adverse events;
- Communicates pertinent information to appropriate members of the health care team;
- Collaborates with Nurse Supervisor to optimize quality and efficiency;
- Ensures that the program and employees' transactions and activities are in full compliance with all laws and clinic legal compliance program policies and standards of conduct; and,
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a practicing nurse practitioner preferred.
- Previous experience in behavioral health or substance use (SUD) treatment is preferred.
- No history of alcohol or drug misuse for three years before employment.
- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner.
- Licensed to practice in the state in which the clinic operates.
- DEA license.
