This role involves assessing and managing wounds for diverse patient populations, utilizing current wound management theories, and developing skin care programs. Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with current state licensure (LPN or RN) and have at least two years of experience in medical/surgical or rehabilitation nursing. Certification as a Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurse (CWOCN) or Certified Wound Care Nurse (CWCN) is essential. Strong communication skills and the ability to train others are required.
