The ideal candidate will collect orders and information to understand patients' needs and monitor the quality and accuracy of food served to patients. Responsibilities also include providing clerical support including processing patient orders, tracking food service production tallies, and maintaining inventory. In addition, the Dietitian Nutritionist Assistant will identify, evaluate and resolve standard problems by selecting appropriate solutions from established options.

The ideal candidate should possess basic experience in a similar environment, knowledge of various nutritional diet principles, views, and equipment used in the treatment of patients with varying conditions. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, with the ability to explain sensitive information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences, including non-medical professionals. General knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook), electronic health records (EHR), and well-developed time management and organizational skills necessary to prioritize assignments to meet deadlines.
