Project Engineer/ Assistant Project Manager - Commercial Construction

Location: Sioux Falls, SD/ Traveling
Industry: Commercial Construction
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Project Managers in coordinating and overseeing all phases of commercial construction projects.
- Help prepare and manage project schedules, budgets, and documentation to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
- Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to maintain clear communication and project alignment.
- Track project progress, update status reports, and assist with issue resolution as needed.
- Review and process project documentation, including contracts, submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality control practices, and company policies on-site.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- 1-3 years of experience in commercial construction, ideally in a project management or support role.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and budgeting.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with project management software and tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project, or similar).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
