Job Title: Mechanical EngineerJob Description The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for engineering and designing products, focusing on heavy engineering including finite element analysis, structural analysis, and computational fluid dynamics. The role involves designing products from scratch and engineering those designs to operate effectively in the real world. Responsibilities include performing structural and performance studies, analyzing materials for compatibility and performance, generating and maintaining bill of materials, developing product designs, maintaining design documentation, and supporting research and development activities. Work Site This is a fully on-site position in Niles, Michigan. Work Environment Reporting to the Engineering Manager and working alongside three other employees in the design department. Collaborating cross-functionally with applications/sales and manufacturing teams. The typical work week is 40 hours with a strong emphasis on work/life balance. Initially, the role focuses on training with the potential to transition into a leadership position within the engineering department.
