We are seeking a dynamic and experienced CT-MRI Tech Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and coordinating the activities of the CT-MRI department. This role is not just about operating CT and MRI machines, but also about ensuring that the department runs smoothly and efficiently. The Permanent CT-MRI Tech Lead will be the go-to person for all matters related to CT and MRI technology, including troubleshooting, maintenance, training, and quality control.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the CT and MRI department, ensuring smooth workflow and maximum efficiency.
  • Operate CT and MRI equipment, performing procedures as necessary.
  • Train and mentor junior staff, ensuring they are up-to-date with the latest CT and MRI technology and procedures.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure the highest quality of patient care.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations, maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with the CT and MRI equipment, coordinating with maintenance and repair services as necessary.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest advancements in CT and MRI technology.
  • Perform quality control checks on the CT and MRI equipment, ensuring they are in optimal working condition.
  • Assist in the preparation and administration of contrast media to patients.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in CT and MRI technology.
  • Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • IV Certification obtained within first 6 months of starting.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong technical skills, with proficiency in operating CT and MRI equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Knowledge of safety and health regulations in a medical setting.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Commitment to providing the highest quality of patient care.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations and high-pressure environments with professionalism and composure.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
