Licensed Practical Nurse

- Provides professional nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practices. Responsible for coordinating patient testing and surgeries at all metro hospitals and ASC for Urogynecologist office. Additionally, this will assist with screening of patient pre and post operative calls and scheduling of patient post op appointments. May assist with preauthorization's and/or coordinating peer to peer calls between the insurance company and physicians and can help assist with claims appeals. Able to work in a team atmosphere, as well as, autonomously. Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor at all times. Delegates tasks to unlicensed assistive personnel UAP in accordance with demonstrated competencies and consideration to Scope of Practice. May be responsible for covering Medical Assistant job duties as needed.
