Emergency Department Registered Nurse Sign On Bonus

  • Provide direct nursing care to assigned patients in the ED
  • Work within nursing process to ensure quality patient care
  • Collaborate with healthcare team to implement individualized care plans
  • Assist with special tests and procedures and ensure proper consent
  • Participate in orientation and precepting responsibilities for new personnel
  • Administer medication, including IV medication, and document clinical findings
  • Maintain safe and therapeutic environment for patients/families
  • Enhance professional growth through participation in educational programs
  • Follow patient safety-related policies, procedures, and protocols
  • Encourage patient participation in their own care

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a nursing program
  • 1 year of directly related experience
  • CPR for Healthcare/BLS certification
  • Valid RN license in NM
  • Physical ability to perform heavy work
  • Exposure to hazardous materials requiring PPE
