Ocala Health encompassesOcala Regional Medical Center, a 256-bed facility located in the heart ofOcala, and West Marion Community Hospital, a 174-bed hospital located in west MarionCounty, Summerfield ER, a freestanding emergency department located in southernMarion County, and Maricamp ER, a freestanding emergency department located onMaricamp Road in Ocala. Ocala Regional Medical Center is a Level II TraumaCenter and a Comprehensive Stroke Center. The hospitals offer a host of otherquality and award winning services including orthopedic care and jointreplacement, robotic surgery, cardiac and vascular services including openheart surgery and interventional procedures, emergency, neurological andrehabilitation services, and bariatric surgery. The RN provides safe and effective nursing care to all patients seeking urgent and emergency care. The Registered Nurse is responsible to Charge Nurse and Nursing Director for the delivery of quality patient care utilizing the nursing process. The quality of care given will be in keeping with the philosophy and objectives of the hospital and the Department of Nursing and will maintain and support the standards of nursing care and practice in order to meet the health care needs of patients, their families and the community. The Registered Nurse prescribes, delegates and coordinates all nursing care provided throughout the hospital. The RN supervises patient care support personnel. The RN is responsible for meeting all standards associated with performance, nursing practice and nursing care.Qualifications
- 2 year Associates Degree required
- FL RN Licensure required or obtained within 90 days of hire if licensed with applicable RN Compact Licensure
- BLS
- ACLS & PALS within 90 days of hire/transfer
- ENPC within six months of hire/transfer
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within six months of hire/transfer
