Position Mission
The Systems Administrator will be responsible for level 2 systems administration support for Parasol’s clients. The Sysadmin will support implementation of project task work as determined by each client’s strategic project roadmap. The Sysadmin will also be responsible for onsite technical support as determined by client needs. The Sysadmin’s focus will be primarily on systems and server-related project work as well as tickets escalated from the service desk.
Responsibilities
- Level 2 support for client issues.
- Onsite support of hardware and software.
- System support for servers, virtualization, and email environments.
- In depth problem solving for servers and systems.
- Project implementation task work.
- Detailed documentation within service tickets on issue steps and resolution.
- Excellent customer service on the phone, via email and in person.
Requirements
- Healthcare experience preferred; long-term healthcare support experience is a plus.
- At least five years of systems administration experience in an enterprise environment.
- At least five years’ experience working with systems support, configuration, and management.
- Experience with multiple enterprise systems such as Active Directory, Microsoft Server, Windows Operating Systems, file shares, printers and copiers, phone systems, Exchange, basic network support, desktop hardware support.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills are required.
