Role Overview

In this role, you will provide exceptional technical support to customers by diagnosing and resolving issues across a broad spectrum of technologies, including cloud-native platforms, storage solutions, and scripting languages. You'll play a key role in ensuring smooth operations for clients in industries like Telecoms and Financial Services, as well as other high-demand verticals.
Key Responsibilities
• Technical Troubleshooting: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues involving Kubernetes, OpenStack, Red Hat Virtualization, and hybrid cloud platforms.
• Backup & Recovery Expertise: Assist customers in configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting backup, disaster recovery, ransomware recovery, and migration workflows using our solutions.
• Cloud-Native Data Protection: Guide customers in deploying and managing data protection strategies for cloud-native applications, ensuring minimal downtime and data loss.
• Storage System Integration: Provide expertise in integrating our solutions with a variety of storage backends (block, file, and object) and optimizing performance for backup and recovery tasks.
• Customer Enablement: Conduct training and walkthrough sessions to educate customers on best practices for implementing our solutions in DevOps, ITOps, and service provider environments.
• Issue Escalation and Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering and product teams to address escalated issues and contribute to product improvements based on customer feedback.
• Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Develop technical documentation, including FAQs, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base articles, to empower customers and reduce support dependency.
• Environment Optimization: Advise customers on optimizing their infrastructure for seamless disaster recovery, data migration, and ransomware resilience.
• Monitoring and SLA Adherence: Ensure all issues are logged, tracked, and resolved within established service level agreements (SLAs).

Required Skills & Qualifications
• Strong technical expertise in Linux system administration and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, OpenStack, and Red Hat Virtualization environments.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation with Python.
• Deep understanding of storage technologies, including block, file, and object storage, and their roles in backup and data protection.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a customer-centric mindset.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work remotely and align with Mountain Time Zone hours.

Preferred Qualifications
• Industry Expertise: Familiarity with Telecoms and Financial Services industries.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in a technical support, customer success, or technical consulting role.
• Certifications such as Kubernetes CKA/CKAD or OpenStack Administrator.
• Familiarity with open-source project contribution or management.
