Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the operative suite for surgery by gathering supplies and equipment
  • Maintain surgical asepsis in the handling of instruments and other items
  • Assist in turnover of operating room suites between cases, including equipment cleaning and environmental surface maintenance
  • Prepare procedure room for the next day's use by setting up equipment and reporting any needed items

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
  • Certification as a Surgical Tech
  • Minimum one year experience in an operating room setting preferred
  • Valid BCLS Certification upon employment
