Summary:
AS THE PHARMACY TECHNICIAN,

1. Fill medication orders transcribed from original physician order to patient drug profile, which included sterile compounding. 2. Counts medication needed for each individual prescription order and fills unit dose patient drawers. 3. Prepares prescription labels. 4. Delivers medication carts to patient units and exchanges unit dose cassettes daily. 5. Assists in the inspection of supplies and pharmaceuticals as well as inventory process. 6. Prepackages bulk medications for unit dose use. 7. Returns patient credits to stock. 8. Prepares floor stock items. 9. Maintains neatness, cleanliness, and orderly pharmacy area. 10. Performs a variety of clerical functions, as directed.

Other information:
Pharmacy Technician Certification and either an Associated Degree or over two years' experience as a pharmacy technician.
