- Location: Elmhurst Hospital
- Per Diem
- Hours: Days as needed - scheduled 1-2 days a week and works 1 Sunday a month
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Dietetics or Food & Nutrition
- Current State of Illinois Dietitian Nutritionist licensure (LDN) within ninety days of start date into position.
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist credential (RDN)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated
- Problem solving skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
This position works closely with the interdisciplinary health care teams to provide nutrition services and medical nutrition therapy that are integrated and compatible with the patient's medical program goals and objectives. Primary responsibilities include developing and implementing nutrition services and medical nutrition therapy using established standards of care and practice protocols/guidelines; managing resources in an effective manner; participating in performance improvement efforts.
