Audiology near Austin, TX

  • Join a team of 1 ENT, 2 NPs and 1 AuD
  • Outpatient-Only
  • See patients of all ages: infancy to geriatric
  • No Call
  • Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Administrative Time: 4 hrs/week
  • Avg 5-10 patients/day
  • Office is conveniently located on the campus of the Medical Center
  • Epic EMR
Education/Skills/Experience:
  • AuD or master's degree Required
  • Board eligibility or board certification by the American Board of Audiology or American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • 2-3 years of experience preferred
  • Active Texas License or ability to attain is required
Duties Include:
  • Hearing aid dispensing with cutting-edge technology and fitting/follow up care.
  • In house repair and/or cleaning of hearing aids.
  • Counseling patients/family members and coordination of patient care with other healthcare professionals.
  • Vestibular assessments (ABR's, VNG's, etc.)
  • Knowledge of assistive listening devices, musician, Hunter, and swim plugs
  • Interpret test results/dictate reports for EMR
