Overview

As the Production Optimization Analyst, you will play a crucial role in extracting insights from complex datasets, enabling data-driven decision-making across the operations organization. You will work closely with various teams to understand their data needs, collect and clean data, perform statistical analysis, identify opportunities and communicate findings in a clear and concise manner.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the scheduling process, intricacies, and outputs of internal Practice Management System to drive additional measured output
  • Clean and preprocess data to ensure accuracy and consistency in reports
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies
  • Understand business objectives and translate them into actionable data-driven insights
  • Provide recommendations to operational leaders and senior leadership to optimize processes and improve performance
  • Determine reports and dashboards required to assess production optimization
  • Assess staffing utilization based on optimized production and generate ongoing recommendations
  • Actively work to understand and refine existing processes to develop new analytics views
  • Identify opportunities to expand provider networks in areas of patient need
  • Analyze data trends to uncover potential volume and throughput opportunities
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to fill open slots and ensure timely patient care
  • Evaluate the impact of patient engagement strategies on no-show/cancellation rates
  • Conduct research to implement innovative patient engagement strategies and tools
  • Assist in budget planning and analysis
  • Analyze data trends for volume opportunities
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, or other related field.
  • 3+ years of data analysis and result driven experience
  • Proven experience in strategic analytics and modeling
  • Ability to uncover operational and data trends.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Business Intelligence tools (Power BI Preferred)
  • Knowledge of relevant software and tools (e.g., NexGen and/or other patient engagement software, scheduling systems) a plus
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high pressure, and rapidly changing environment
  • Experience with healthcare operations preferred
  • Multi-site experience preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
