The Regional Clinical Supervisor's primary responsibilities include the training and clinical oversite of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), Behavior Consultants (BCs), Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), and Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) and the clinical integrity of the programs as a whole. The area of oversight includes the satellite offices from the Bethlehem office, including (but potentially not limited to) Bloomsburg, Honesdale, and Temple. They work with the IBHS Director and other Clinical Supervisors to create and implement training and supervision opportunities for the program using the principles of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), specifically as outlined in the most recent Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) task list.

The Clinical Supervisor maintains a caseload to provide direct treatment and increase opportunities for the development, supervision, and training of other staff.

Job duties:

Recruits, interviews and selects candidates for the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training program, providing orientation and guidance throughout the process. Maintains the RBT on their BACB account (as "Responsible Certificate") while they are employed at KidsPeace.

Completes RBT competency assessment for all candidates, and coaches applicants who are not ready to pass the competencies on areas for development.

Provides ongoing required supervision for RBTs, Behavior Analysts, and Behavior Consultants in accordance with most current BACB standards.

Facilitates scheduling for RBTs and BHTs.

Develops program staff through ABA trainings.

Provides consultation on cases for BCBAs and Behavior Specialists in the program. This can occur through direct observation during sessions or through discussion of cases.

Remains aware of current BACB standards and ethical guidelines and communicates them to program leadership and staff.

Seeks out current research on ABA interventions, assessments, and advances in the field and communicates them to program leadership and staff.

Assists program staff in developing practical data collection systems that accurately capture client behavior and in representing them graphically.

Maintains a caseload of clients, providing direct service to the client and their family and the staff on the treatment team.

All other duties as assigned by management.

Leadership - Provides oversight and clinical supervision to all program staff.

Communication Skills - Able to give clear information, orally and in writing, listen effectively, negotiate and get/give unbiased information.

Interpersonal Skills - Communicating information in a way that is professional, caring and understanding of diverse situations and circumstances for families, clients and other staff.

Mediation - Able to serve as a neutral party to resolve conflicts between staff, families, departments, etc.

Compliance - Understands and rigorously follows all of the compliance policies and procedures of KidsPeace Corporation as well as the ethical requirements of the BACB.

Qualifications:

Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst certificate.

Master's or Doctoral Degree in Human Services.

Minimum of two years' experience in a similar setting.

Prior experience working with individuals with autism and use of Applied Behavior Analysis required.

Must possess personal computer knowledge and skills, including graphing and data representation.
