Getting the Job Done:
• Provideguests and team members with professional, efficient, courteous and genuinehospitality.
• Demonstratesa leadership ability that inspires and empowers team members to succeed, growand develop.
• Leadthe team to anticipate guest's needs and offer services prior to being asked.
• Inconjunction with the Director of Sales/GM prepare the annual strategic salesplan and revenue budget that aligns with the hotels overall sales and marketingplan.
• Maintainsand conducts industry market research to project future business and trends.
• Completesales calls to potential clients and ensure timely follow up to establish newrevenue streams.
• Meet/exceedall monthly revenue and prospecting goals.
• Maintainrelationships and is an active member in the community; attend networkingevents regularly.
• Establishand maintain strong professional relationships with clients through effectiveand timely communication and fully understanding all of their needs andrequirements for executing successful events.
• Maintainopen and professional communication with other department heads and supervisorsto ensure the needs of the guests and team members are addressed timely.
• Maintainsthe department standards and use of the systems; utilize reports to identifyRevPar and Occupancy opportunities.
• MonitorBrand Service Scores and support the GM in taking the appropriate action toensure scores are communicated to the team and maintained above the Brandaverage.
• Participatesin the Property's Manager on Duty program as needed and understands the role ofbeing a property leader.
• Attendall mandatory meetings and complete all training required.
Experience for Success:
• 2years of Sales/Marketing experience
• Highschool diploma or equivalent; College degree preferred
• Strongwritten and verbal communication skills in English; a second language a plus
• Financialskills including budget management and forecasting
• Strongnegotiation, presentation and computer skills
• Strongproblem-solving skills and the ability to think out of the box
