Organization: MPHS-Mills-Peninsula Medical Center Position Overview: Competently performs routine and specialized breast procedures to produce quality images to physicians and other health care providers for the diagnosis, treatment, monitoring and prevention of injury or disease. Works independently, exercising sound judgment, and developed clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures to deliver accurate results in a timely manner. Gains confidence and cooperation from the patient, their family/support group, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication. Adheres to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care. May also be responsible for performing specific procedures and/or orient other staff to the department. Job Description: * ACCEPTING NEW GRADS Willing to train** EDUCATION: Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma. Other: Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program or equivalent education/experience. CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE: CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist. RHM-Radiology Mammography. BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider. EXPERIENCE: Two years of recent relevant experience.. SIGN ON BONUS: $10,000. Available to external candidates in accordance with the Sutter Health policy. Job Shift: Rotating Schedule: Per Diem/Casual Shift Hours: 8 Days of the Week: Variable Weekend Requirements: One Weekend Shift a month Benefits: No Unions: No Position Status: Non-Exempt Weekly Hours: 0 Employee Status: Per Diem/Casual Number of Openings: 1 This position may regularly work, store, prepare, receive, unpack, transport, dispose of, or administer drug(s) identified as hazardous, or potentially hazardous, by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) for purposes of USP 800. Pay Range is $66.01 to $82.50 / hour The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
