Experience: Clinical fellowship training in Interventional Radiology is required.

License: Must have a license to practice or be willing to obtain one.

Certifications: Board Certified in Interventional Radiology; ACLS certification required or willing to obtain

Must-Have: Clean malpractice/license history is highly preferred.

Job Description:

- Seeking an experienced, fellowship-trained Interventional Radiologist for an exciting opportunity.
- The position is in a hospital-based practice setting with a leading medical institution.
- Schedule includes regular daytime hours with on-call responsibilities during nights and weekends.
- On-call duties: Monday-Friday evenings and 24-hour coverage on weekends.
- Candidates should be ready to handle an average of 8-11 cases daily, focusing on procedures such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, and biopsies.
- This is a Level 3 Trauma Center with a significant emergency room volume.
- The role involves working with a team of interventional radiologists and standard hospital IR support staff.
- The primary patient population includes adults, encompassing geriatric and adolescent patients.
- Required procedures include Angiography, CT, Ultrasound, Angioplasty, Stent Placement, Chemoembolization, Embolization, Aortic Aneurysm Endograft Stent, Needle Biopsy, Thrombolysis, and Kyphoplasty.
- Teleradiology is utilized via a standard platform.
- Electronic Medical Record system: EPIC.
- Relocation may be required and discussed during the interview process.
- Locum and locum-to-perm candidates may be considered.
