Description

We are looking for an experienced Construction Superintendent who can lead our labor crew and subcontractors. You'll help our construction company plan and manage projects from start to finish for homeowners. Additional responsibilities include daily scheduling, maintaining the safety and compliance of a construction site, and supervising all activities. Our ideal candidate has at least 5 years of construction field experience with leadership skills in managing general contractors highly preferred. Responsibilities

• Assess subcontractor progress against timelines and performance targets to ensure that work is completed on schedule and to the highest possible quality
• Maintain a daily record of project progress and home repair updates for the project manager and the homeowner
• Begin preparing a formal plan for homeowners that has a cost estimate for the job
• Consult with the project's stakeholders to ensure that the project remains within budget
• Employ subcontractors and ensure they have all of the necessary permits

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification and firm adherence to safety protocols on the job-site
• 5 years of prior experience as a general contractor is required for this position; additional management experience preferred
• A high school diploma is required, bachelor's degree preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, leadership, and time-management skills
• Possesses a deep understanding of the construction industry and the entire building process, including building codes, permits, construction equipment, material resources, project management principles, and construction methods
