Stamford Health Medical Group (SHMG), a multispecialty physician group in partnership with Stamford Hospital, is currently seeking a BE/BC Internist or Family Medicine physician to join a well-established primary care practice on the east side of Stamford. This opportunity is open due to retirement of one of our providers. The incoming physician will step in a very well-established panel of patients.

SHMG is seeking an enthusiastic provider of holistic person-centered care to work alongside another internist, excellent nurses and front office support, The practice is all out-patient, M - F, with 36 patient contact hours and 4 hours for administrative duties that can be completed at home. The practice is part of an established SHMG call group of 12 physicians. All physicians refer patients to Stamford Hospital in downtown Stamford.

Stamford Hospital is an award-winning 305-bed independent, community teaching Hospital, and a primary teaching affiliate of Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. Located alongside CT's beautiful shoreline in Fairfield County, Stamford downtown has a vibrant city vibe with a walkable downtown, rows of eclectic restaurants and outdoor cafes, outdoor concerts, luxury high-rise apartments and lofts, outdoor concerts, a comedy club, waterfront dining, and the list goes on. Chelsea Piers Sports Complex is nerby as well as the SONO Collection high end shopping mall with Nordstrom and Bloomingdale's. Neighboring towns along the coast offer a classic New England feel where you can choose to be close to downtown. 10 minutes away in North Stamford you will find the opposite of downtown - a country-side rural setting, with plenty of nature, hiking, walking trails, wildlife and outdoor adventures NYC isonly an hour away. with NYC only 50 minutes away.
