Summary

We are seeking a Cloud Systems Senior Administrator with active security clearance to join our team in St. Louis, MO. As part of an integrated Operations and Sustainment team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and improving cloud systems for a DOD customer. You will work closely with other engineers and provide support for escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers. This is a not a remote role and requires daily on-site attendance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of cloud systems
  • Isolate and resolve problems involving operating systems, hardware, communications, and other infrastructure components
  • Prepare problem reports to appropriate leads
  • Interface with internal teams and external vendors
  • Integrate new technologies into new and existing systems and work with multiple security domains
  • Monitor and report on system health using various tools
  • Execute with minimal supervision, embracing reliability constraints and contributing to continuous improvement
  • Participate in group on-call rotation when necessary
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 4+ years' experience, or Associate degree and 6+ years' experience, or high school diploma/GED and 8+ years' experience
  • Experience with Tier 1-4 Service Desk and troubleshooting network, DNS, and storage issues
  • SA experience with building unclassified, integrating, testing, and deploying on classified environments
  • Security+ certification required
  • Active TS/SCI clearance required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Demonstrated proficiency with Cloud Formation, GitLab, Service +, Git Repositories, JIRA, and Confluence
  • Strong AWS experience, particularly with the C2S Suite and tools, IAM policies, and SNS Topics
  • Familiarity with Elasticsearch Kibana, AWS CloudWatch, and LDAP
  • Senior-level experience managing and administering Linux/Windows-based systems
  • Experience with container platform infrastructure in AWS (EKS, ECS)
  • Clear understanding of container technologies and the tools/challenges around them
  • Proficient in Python scripting
  • Experience working with Elasticsearch, and supporting CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience delivering projects via Agile methodologies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
