Seeking a Lead Full Stack Software Engineer with expertise in Python, Angular, and React to join a collaborative and inclusive team at Capital One. As a key member, you'll lead diverse technology projects and mentor a team of developers. Your contributions will drive a major transformation within the company, creating innovative solutions to meet regulatory needs and deliver robust cloud-based experiences to millions of customers.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers with deep experience in distributed microservices and full stack systems
  • Stay on top of tech trends, experiment with new technologies, and participate in internal & external technology communities
  • Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions
  • Utilize programming languages like Python, Angular, SQL, and open source RDBMS, Oracle DB, and container orchestration services including Docker

About The Team:

Join the File Transfer team, working on cloud-based file transfers between Capital One and external vendors. Be part of an environment with exciting challenges and opportunities to think outside the box.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 6 years of experience in software engineering
  • At least 1 year experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree
  • 9+ years of experience in JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go
  • 4+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service
  • 4+ years of experience in open source frameworks
  • 1+ years of people management experience
  • 2+ years of experience in Agile practices
