Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Unblinded Pharmacist to join our clinical research team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing investigational drugs, ensuring compliance with study protocols, and maintaining the integrity of our clinical trials.
Key Responsibilities:
Investigational Drug Management:
Oversee the preparation, dispensing, and documentation of investigational drugs.
Maintain accurate records of drug inventory and usage.
Ensure proper storage and handling of investigational drugs.
Compliance and Protocol Adherence:
Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, including FDA, GCP, and institutional policies.
Adhere to study protocols and guidelines for unblinded activities.
Participate in internal and external audits and inspections.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with blinded pharmacists, investigators, and study coordinators to ensure seamless trial execution.
Communicate effectively with study sponsors and regulatory bodies.
Provide unblinded information to authorized personnel as required.
Education and Training:
Educate and train research staff on investigational drug handling and protocol requirements.
Stay current with advancements in clinical research and pharmacology.
Qualifications:
Active pharmacist license in [State].
Minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical research or a related field.
Comprehensive knowledge of clinical trial processes and regulations.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with electronic data capture systems and clinical trial management systems.
Prior experience in an unblinded pharmacist role.
