Role Summary

As a Nursing Extern, you will work under the supervision of Registered Nurses and assist the nursing team in providing high-quality, patient-centered care. Duties include:

  • Assisting with daily living activities and patient mobility.
  • Recording patient information and vital signs.
  • Communicating with patients and families about care plans and health education.
  • Supporting the clinical team in implementing individualized care plans.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled and in good standing at an accredited nursing school; one year of nursing school completion is preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Strong communication skills and a caring attitude towards patients.
